Cascade TEK’s SVO-5-VC is built to execute your exact drying process. Vacuum drying is the most efficient method to remove moisture – especially from temperature sensitive products.
SVO-5-VC Oven with Vacuum Control
The vacuum system includes an electro-pneumatic isolation valve installed between the oven and vacuum pump. This valve is controlled by an event output in the Watlow controller. The SVO-5-VC can be programmed to perform vacuum control in a recipe in conjunction with heating profiles, allowing multiple pump purge/heating cycles to help remove moisture from the product without the need for the operator to control the oven. Includes upgraded Inficon (1000 Torr to 0.1 mTorr) Pirani Full Range Digital Vacuum Gauge to allow for reading the full ultimate vacuum of the process/pump. Includes upgraded Inficon (1000 to 1.0 Torr) Capacitance Manometer Vacuum Gauge to allow for vacuum control via the setpoint of the process/pump.

Liner-The SVO-5-VC has a upgraded Stainless Steel liner made from 0.25” thick 304 SS plate. The thicker material allows for longer life, with less flex, better heat retention and temp uniformity.
Door-The SVO-5-VC has an upgraded door. The door is made from 1.0” thick Aluminum. The door has a machined groove for the Viton door gasket O-Ring. This upgraded design allows for extended gasket life and expands the choices available for gasket materials.
Stand-The SVO-5-VC is mounted on a floor stand. The stand houses all the electronics and the vacuum pump. The allows for easy troubleshooting, noise reduction, and saves space by keeping the pump under the oven.
Heaters-The SVO-5-VC has upgraded solid state strip heaters. These heaters have better heat transfer into the oven liner, with longer life and better electrical efficiency and life span. This improves time to temp, temperature uniformity and reduces overall heat rejection from the oven.
Pumps-The SVO-5-VC provides power to the vacuum pump, so only one electrical connection is needed to supply the system.
