Cascade TEK's Salt Fog chambers are controlled corrosive environments designed to test the corrosion resistance of products. Salt Fog Testing is typically performed on coated or painted samples for marine, automotive, and military equipment. Salt Fog Testing is also an excellent way to test the permeability of coatings and seals.

Cascade TEK can provide scribing and taping of samples to meet ASTM D1654: Corrosion Creep Back and ASTM D3359: Measuring Adhesion By Tape Test. (Assesses the adhesion of coating films to metallic substrates).

Custom test duration, visual inspection, and photos of units under test can be tailored to your requirements. Cascade TEK is an accredited test lab and conforms to international standards for salt spray tests.
