HALT and HASS Recommended Practice

Posted on Jun 12th, 2013 by marybabitz

Here is a link to purchase a new guideline to HALT and HASS testing.   What’s unique about this guide is that is that the developers consisted of both users and manufactures of HALT/HASS testing/equipment for an experience rich and unbiased source of information.
“The Working Group consisted of both users and manufacturers of HALT/HASS equipment. This balance means users cannot incorporate demands that the equipment is physically incapable of meeting, and equipment manufacturers cannot skew the guidance to conflict with how users actually apply the testing in their labs. The experts in the group were true professionals, willing to talk issues over, and every one of them showed passion in getting a user-friendly document out to the industry. “  - Chris Peterson.
Cascade TEK often refers to the “Qualmark Guideline” as another great resource for developing and executing a HALT/HASS test.   Cascade TEK is accredited to perform HALT and HASS testing at both Colorado and Oregon test facilities.
